Camp Lone Star (Luthern Outdoor Ministries of Texas): Each year, hundreds of children attend Christian summer camp at Camp Lone Star and off-site locations, or participate in Christ-centered programs during the school year, such as pre-confirmation retreats, outdoor education programs, and other events. In addition to Christian youth programs, LOMT offers a variety of Christ-centered camping retreats and outreach programs for persons of all ages at Camp Lone Star and at off-site facilities. On average, more than 8,500 individuals in Texas are served annually by LOMT programs. All of this is part of LOMT’s mission to provide Christ-centered opportunities in the midst of God’s creation and among His people.
Mt. Olive Lutheran Church is sponsoring 18 children, ages 5 – 18, to attend a week this summer at LCMS Camp Lonestar in LaGrange, TX. Praise the Lord!
